En. After a first experience of a few days in Tenerife at the end of 2025, I spent my first week in Lanzarote in January 2026, following an invitation from a fashion photographer friend who bought a house on the island.

This first week of discovery felt like love at first sight, as I found everything I love there: wild and sparsely populated lands, volcanoes, black sand bordered by a fierce ocean, and small villages full of charm.

Added to this is a unique artistic and cultural dimension, with the remarkable legacy of César Manrique, who gave this island a soul, an identity, and a protected natural environment for eternity.

Fr. Après une première expérience de quelques jours sur Tenerife fin 2025 je passa ma première semaine sur Lanzarote en janvier 2026, répondant à l'invitation d'un ami photographe de mode qui s'est acheté une maison sur l'île. 

Cette première semaine de découverte fut comme un coup de foudre tant j'ai retrouvé tout ce que j'aime : des terres sauvages et peu peuplées, des volcans, du sable noir bordé par un océan fougueux, des petits villages pleins de charme.

S'ajoute à cela une dimension artistique et culturelle unique avec le formidable héritage de César Manrique qui a légué à cette île une âme, une identité et une nature protégée pour l'éternité.
