Faroe Islands

My very first trip dates back to January 2017, when I responded to an invitation from Visit Faroe Islands, who generously invited me to spend a month in this territory. It was love at first sight with the culture and the truly unparalleled landscapes. I had the chance to become friends with many Faroese people who took me off the beaten track. Hiking alone to Mikynes under hailstorms and rainbows (at a time when it was still possible) will remain forever engraved in my heart. I returned the following summer to that same island to attend a wedding. Unforgettable.

Mon tout premier voyage date de janvier 2017, répondant à l'invitation de Visit Faroe islands qui m'a généreusement invité à passer un mois sur ce territoire. Le coup de foudre fut immédiat pour la culture et les paysages sans pareil. J'ai eu la chance de me lier d'amitié avec de nombreux Féroïens qui m'ont emmené hors des sentiers battus. La randonnée vers Mikynes en solitaire sous (à l'époque c'etait encore possible) sous les grelons et les arc-en-ciels restera gravée à jamais dans mon cœur. Je reviendrai l'été sur cette même île pour assister à un mariage. Inoubliable.
