Iceland Summer

These photographs are from a single one-month trip to Iceland, from June 11 to July 10, 2012. This journey, which I took with my partner Emilie and our son Andy (20 monts old) was an opportunity to explore Iceland extensively. Emilie showed great courage in doing many hikes with Andy on her back, especially in Þórsmörk and Landmannalaugar. I called this trip "Kodachrome" because this long summer stay offered us such rich and varied colors.

Ces photographies proviennent d’un seul voyage d’un mois en Islande, du 11 juin au 10 juillet 2012. Ce périple, que j’ai effectué avec ma compagne Émilie et notre fils Andy (âgé de 20 mois), a été l’occasion d’explorer l’Islande en profondeur. Émilie a fait preuve d’un grand courage en réalisant de nombreuses randonnées avec Andy sur son dos, notamment à Þórsmörk et Landmannalaugar. J’ai appelé ce voyage « Kodachrome » car ce long séjour estival nous a offert des couleurs d’une richesse et d’une diversité exceptionnelles.
