Road Trip Dolomites (Milk magazine Mood)

En. This series tells the story of one of the most unforgettable journeys I have ever shared with my son Andy, who was just seven and a half years old.

We rented a Peugeot 5008 and turned it into our tiny home on wheels—nothing more than a foam mattress and a simple cooler, yet everything we needed for the adventure ahead.

On July 13, 2018, we left Toulouse and headed east with no itinerary and no reservations, never knowing where we would spend the night. I had dreamed of seeing the Dolomites, so we set our course for Italy. But once the journey had begun, every road led to another discovery. We kept driving, following nothing but our curiosity, through the landscapes of northern Italy and southern Austria, until, three weeks later, we arrived in Ljubljana, the charming capital of Slovenia.

J'avais loué une Peugeot 5008 que nous avons transformé en camping-car (comprenez par là un simple matelas en mousse et une glacière non réfrigérée).

Partis de Toulouse le 13 juillet 2018, nous avons roulé vers l'Est sans jamais savoir où nous passerions la nuit. Je voulais voir les Dolomites, nous y sommes allés, Mais impossible de s'arrêter : nous avons atteint Lubjana en Slovénie 3 semaines plus tard après avoir exploré le Nord de l'Italie puis le sud de l'Autriche.
