En. Early 2026, the agency Voyageurs du Monde invited me to accompany François B., an eminent physician and passionate photographer, on a 5-day journey in Iceland, immersed in the vast winter white.
An epic adventure across the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, rediscovering the black church of Búðakirkja, the Hellnar Arch, the iconic Kirkjufell mountain, and more hidden gems.
After two days of exploration, we reached the Hraunfossar waterfalls, where turquoise waters cascade through the lava formations of Hallmundarhraun.
On the final day, on the Reykjanes Peninsula, we were gifted an unforgettable sunset and the rare luxury of solitude, facing the still-steaming lava field of Mt. Fagradalsfjall.

Fr. Début 2026 l’agence Voyageurs du Monde m’a proposé d’accompagner François B. médecin émérite passionné de photographie durant un séjour de 5 jours en Islande dans le grand blanc hivernal.
Une aventure épique à travers la péninsule de Snæfellsnes pour re-découvrir l’église noire Búðakirkja, l’arche de Hellnar, la montagne Kirkjufell et des trésors plus secrets.
Après deux jours d’exploration nous avons rejoint la chute de Hraunfossar et ses eaux turquoises dévalant les méandres du Hallmundarhraun.
Le dernier jour sur la pénsinsule de Reykjanes nous a offert un sunset inoubliable et le luxe d’une solitude face au champ de lave encore fumante du Mt. Fagradalsfjall.
